Introduction
Ha Giang Loop Motorbike in 7 days is an engaging experience because you might see a commune that few people know like Vu Linh, where many homestays have grown or Tay Con Linh with a wild beauty. Go over the pass street called “Happy” or climb to the top of the pass 1,200 meters above sea level—Ma Pi Leng Pass. All are memorable memories to add to your traveling notebook.Ha Giang Loop Motorbike Tours In A Week

First Day – Hanoi to Vu Linh Motorbike Ride
Gather at the meeting point to listen to a short brief of Vietnamese traffic laws before starting Ha Giang Loop by motorcycle. Everything is ready! We’ll depart the trip by riding along the Red River. It takes about 1 hour to go to Viet Tri Town and have lunch here. You’ll enjoy Viet Tri’s specialties, such as Bagridae fish hot pot, Bagridae porridge, Viet Tri Ear Cake, etc. Keep roaming on the rural roads; there are ancient homes with bright red tiled roofs. Vu Linh will welcome us in the late afternoon. This is an appealing spot for foreign and domestic visitors, especially for experiential tourism activities. Fortunately, we have enough time to visit Ngoi Tu and see vast rice fields or Thac Ba Lake from a new perspective. At the end of the day, everyone will stay a night in the Dao people’s charming village and sleep in their traditional stilt house.
Second Day – Chieu Lau Thi Motorbike Tour
Finishing delicious breakfast and coffee is about 8 a.m. It’s time to say goodbye to the friendly Dzao host family and move to the next destination—Chieu Lau Thi. We temporarily call Ha Giang Loop by motorbike on the second day as a cloud-hunting journey. Depart our journey in the summer months. Although this isn’t an ideal time (generally from September to December), maybe we’re lucky to see it. Moving neither fast nor slow, we’ll reach the top of Chieu Lau Thi in 2 hours. We aren’t yet reaching the peak and don’t see the Vietnamese flag fluttering, but the vast area of cloud is covering the valleys around Chieu Lau Thi. It combines with the sound of streams, cliff edges, and forests, looking like a fresh, natural picture appearing before our eyes. This is a truly peaceful place—no air-conditioning or wifi- allowing us to forget our busy life in the city and spend all our time in this simple atmosphere and people. Now, we go down the mountain and have a warm, delicious dinner by the fire flickering!
Third Day – Tay Con Linh Motorcycle Tour
Instead of departing from Thanh Thuy, about 20 kilometers in Ha Giang Northwest, we choose to ride motorbikes across Xin Chai and then be willing to ask the native people for directions to Tay Con Linh. The purpose is to admire Hoang Su Phi’s stunning terraced fields. Throughout the trip, all riders concentrate as this is one of the most difficult Vietnam Motorbike Tours. Conquering Tay Con Linh is more challenging than Fansipan Mount—one side has deep pools and other slopes. We go through remote areas and encounter sparse houses; everything seems independent. We were all determined to spend a whole day exploring the roof of the mountainous region of Northeast Vietnam. Until late at night, we had dinner and overnight at the foresting-view local homestay.
Fourth Day – Dong Van Motorbike Trip
Everyone’s energy is fully restored after a good sleep at Tay Con Linh. So, we continue the next PG1 Adventure Tours, typically Dong Van, in which you can admire one of four great mountain passes – Ma Pi Leng. The majestic mountains and the graceful, emerald green Nho Que River shining up between the gray rocky foothills makes our trip more beautiful than. Due to the location near Vietnam’s northernmost tip, Ma Pi Leng painted a magnificent watercolor picture, attracting people whose eyes love nature. Now, we have arrived at the Vuong Family’s Palace. The people here often hail the “King of H’mong people.” When entering and looking at the inside architecture of the house, we must say “wow” because the whole house was built of stone and wood in Chinese style. We didn’t really want to leave, but Dong Van is 14 kilometers away, and we had to set foot in the town before afternoon to walk the ancient streets and visit the H’mong houses that had been built many centuries ago.
Fifth Day – Bao Lac Motorcycle Route
Today is only a normal day in the week, which is a pity; we cannot attend the Dong Van market at the weekend. Carrying these regrets, we ride our motorbikes on winding roads to Bao Lac. It was not until late afternoon that we arrived at Bao Lac since we had to stop by Meo Vac. Surrounded by mountains, this is a simple and rustic place to live for many ethnic minorities, such as Dao, Hmong, Tay, Kinh, etc. We were once again immersed in the peaceful scenery and might know more about the featured culture of the people here. The stunning view of Bao Lac is engulfed in clouds. As far as our eye can see, the green of the mountains and hills is interspersed with bamboo forests in harvest season. With 50,000 residents living and working in free-water, non-electrical, charming mountain villages, we quickly blended into their quiet life without the hustle and bustle.
Sixth Day – Ba Be Motorbike Journey
Ba Be National Park is more than 200 km from Hanoi’s capital and is an ideal eco-tourism destination for those who love nature and like to explore. At present, it’s more than 3 p.m. Despite the easy-to-ride road, we slowly rode due to many blind curves. This place deserves the name of the pearl of Bac Kan mountains. In addition to the pristine natural scenery, Ba Be National Park has a variety of plant and animal life in an ecosystem with over 1,000 species and many beautiful caves. Before motorbiking into Bac Ngoi, we boat on Ba Be Lake. At night, everyone chooses to stay overnight at a small Tay village.
Seventh Day – Long Motorcycle Journey Back To Hanoi
Goodbye, the Northwest I love! We ride back to the hustle and bustle of life in Hanoi. Motorcycling through small mountain roads, we reach Thai Nguyen City and have a simple lunch there. During lunch, we discussed the route back to Hanoi. There are two sections—either Highway No.3 or small rural roads with terraced rice fields to Nhat Tan Bridge. Everyone seems to desire to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, so they all choose to ride across tranquil villages with lush rice paddies. Before rush hour, we go to Hanoi.
